Öğretmen Gelişim Programı

We believe that as teachers, we should continuously improve ourselves to be able to cater the diverse needs of students and facilitate learning for them.

We help guide candidate teachers, newly graduated teachers and experienced teachers to improve their planning structures, methods, in-class practices and approaches to teaching. We create models and structures to support the academic, social and emotional development of students.

TRANSDISCIPLINARY LEARNING - INQUIRY BASED APPROACH

For enduring and long term understandings, students need to wonder, research, experience, see and hear the desired learning outcomes. In inquiry-based and concept driven teaching, learning outcomes become more meaningful with a transdisciplinary model in which several disciplines collaborate for a bigger conceptual understanding.

We help you explore the strategies and methods that make learning meaningful. We work with teachers to facilitate and conduct learning in their classrooms and help create effective and engaging lesson / unit plans to sustain conceptual understandings in learning.

We cover the following areas in our work:

  • Learning through inquiry
  • Designing effective learning experiences
  • Preparing an effective lesson plan

Every child is unique. We need to understand children’s learning needs and styles to be able to guide them in their learning journey. In a healthy school and classroom environment, students feel safe and know that they are valued, seen and heard. They understand that they are also responsible for their learning. It is necessary to make the best use of school time and resources and define responsibilities for engaging and effectively managed lessons. We work with you to develop systems for effective classroom management.

We cover the following areas in our work:

ASSESSMENT

Assessment, which is a learning tool, not only plays a guiding role in planning the next steps for teachers, but also enables students to have a say in their own learning and to become aware of their own learning styles. Assessment with this awareness, underlines the need for collaborative planning for teachers and students for positive change.

Receiving feedback and feedforward on how and how much students are learning will prepare them for their next steps. We work with you to see the impact of assessment practices at school and explore strategies, tools and systems in assessment.

We cover the following areas in our work:

  • Types of assessment
  • Planning for assessment

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
